A Pinch of Positivity- makes the difference.

There are many people who ask me the same question, in different ways, that how to keep calm and composed at even tough situation. I smile, and answer them according to the situation. Mostly in this CoVid situation, every human being is going through a huge mental dilemma and its high time we shall talk about it, openly.

There are no space of going out, talking to friends, getting some kind of exposure, have some fresh air due to this CoVid. So we need to be self-sufficient as slowly these things are going off from our lives.

There are few aspects which control us to become anxious and excited (in a negetive way). That’s where you need to hold the grip. What we human should realize is human mind is made with lot of controllable emotions and at times this requires to be balanced by ourselves. Me being a student of Psychological  Education can say that confidently.

At times you may find you are loosing the grip of life, you are unable to take any decision even after knowing whats right and whats wrong, you may find yourself sturggling even after taking a decision and then end up withdrawing that which leads to a mess. No, don’t do that.

We, being a human being individually, have many common traits.

We seek validation about our decisions.

We look for sympathy even from not so closed people when we know we are right.

We explain things to every random people and take there opinion about our life, whilst we know they don’t matter to us as such.

We don’t believe in our instincts, rather we ask 5 other people to judge if I am going right.

Last but most importantly, a human mind always seeks for approval. No matter even if I have gone far to be in peace, they need other people’s opinion to get a green tick on it. I beg you, don’t do that.

There are two stages of your mind, suprisingly, very few knows the detail behind it or rather ever gave it a though. They are, Concious Mind and Sub-concious mind.

Our conscious mind consists of what we are aware of at any given point in time. It includes the things that we are thinking about right now, whether it’s in the front of our minds or the back.

Your subconscious mind is an unquestioning servant that works day and night to make your behavior fits a pattern consistent with your emotionalized thoughts, hopes, and desires. Your subconscious mind grows either flowers or weeds in the garden of your life, whichever you plant by the mental equivalents you create.

Also, there are 3 levels of human mind which controls us in everything. According to Freud psychoanalytic theory, the Id is the primitive and instinctual part of the mind that contains sexual and aggressive drives and hidden memories, the super-ego operates as a moral conscience, and the ego is the realistic part that mediates between the desires of the id and the super-ego.

You will be surprised to know that, the level Id controls us to even kill a person, being harmful and aggressively rude and every extreme negetive thought a human posesses. Fortunately, this can be controlled with professional help and conuselling sessions.

Furthermore, mind has a scientific clarity about everything, but there is also an X factor matters within every human. But eventually, most of is do not wish to even get ourselves treated to improve our mental health, rather the way our mind works.

Being self-aware and having the capability to think and feel emotions with clarity and understanding is part and parcel of being human. Unlike animals, our thought processes rely on far more than instinct alone.

Today, the art of taking therapies such as counselling, are used to help people come to terms with many problems they are facing, with an ultimate aim of overcoming them.

Feelings of stress, anxiety and low self-esteem are becoming all too common in today’s society. Counselling can offer practical advice for overcoming these kinds of issues, as well as allowing you the space to vent your frustrations and feelings.

Additionally, people avoid to seek professional help in this situation.” People who go to counseling are crazy. I’m not crazy!” No, this is wrong.

Some people who receive counseling feel “sick” in the sense of being unhappy, but you don’t need to be feeling sick or non-functioning to go into counseling, you just need to be feeling stuck. Counseling helps when you have tried to address a situation on your own but your strategies don’t seem to help.Asking for help is a sign of maturity, self-awareness and possession of a sense of inner strength.

What you need to remember is, these sessions can not change you as a person, but slowly it will improve your mental health, the way you deal with adrenalin rush, your anxiety problem, you will be calm and composed. Morever, you have to believe the process and believe in yourself.

Apart from that, stop questioning yourself, stop seeking approval and validation from others because that creates self doubt, it will pull you from moving forward. Take online sessions whenever you feel even a slight mentally unstable. We all need to fight this Home-stuck situation which eventually impacting our mental health.

Be confident, Be patient, Be loveable and most importantly, believe in yourself.
